Quick question that I hope someone can help me with...

As you're all probably aware, a lot of the Disney flicks have disc labels that have the shiny background, which makes scanning them a bitch - and they look even worse printed up. Many moons ago, I downloaded a custom label for disc one of the "Cinderella" Special Edition. I'd like to print up a proper label for disc two, but the problem is exactly as I mentioned above - a shiny label. Now all the original artist had done is changed the shiny background to a simple white - but it looks good. I'd like to do the same to match - but I have *no* frickin' clue how to go about this. It seems to me that the simplest thing to do might be to pull out the original artwork from the shiny disc and plunk it on a white background - but, once again, I don't know how to do this.

I'm using Photoshop 7.0, if this info helps.

Any help that *anyone* could provide would be greatly appreciated.
